Popular Zambian house music DJ & producer El Mukuka releases official remix for “IRE” by Nigerian singer-songwriter Adekunle Gold, arguably one of the best contemporary Nigerian artists. “IRE” is El Mukuka’s first release of 2019. The beginning of the year marks the perfect moment for El Mukuka to remind his fans about the beauty of life with a rich and uplifting remix that fuses his signature tropical sound with highlife music and the powerful Adekunle Gold lyrics. “IRE” is El Mukuka’s first collaboration with a Nigerian artist and pays homage to Adekunle Gold’s meaningful message with a music video showing that true happiness lies within and can be found right “at home”. El Mukuka and Adekunle Gold do not just share the same life philosophy, which is exemplified not only in this song but throughout Adekunle Gold’s much-acclaimed album “About 30” and most of El Mukuka’s work, they also share the same musical vision. The goal for both El Mukuka and Adekunle Gold is to make African music popular across the globe and create timeless songs.

El Mukuka earned a place in the international house scene with various iTunes, Spotify and terrestrial radio chart rankings in Spain, Argentina, Estonia and Zambia as well as millions of streams worldwide. He has performed at some of the biggest festivals in Sub-Saharan Africa while also sharing the stage with A-List African and international acts such as Black Coffee, Mi Casa, Goldfish, Alok and Stimming. As a beloved celebrity in Zambia, he endorses different local and international brands, and is the face of the premium Belgian beer Stella Artois.

  1. Very poor video. Congrats to the young girl in there but she was told what to do. Zambians should learn that a video should make reference to the meaning of the song. What does it mean a child just dancing the whole song? The remix sounds very good but poor relation to clip. Thanks

  2. I think it’s a great video, and I know it’s just a remix, but it’s a good one and shows just how far Zambian talent has come. I just wonder how far it can go?
