The Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) has advised motorists in the country to utilize the various service outlets offered by the agency to pay road tax.

RTSA Public Relations Manager (PRM), Fred Mubanga, says members of the public should make use of different outlets such as ZAM Post to pay for their road tax in order to avoid being inconvenienced.

Speaking in an interview with ZANIS in Kabwe this morning, Mr Mubanga said RTSA has tried to provide various platforms through which motorists in various areas can use to timely pay for their road tax.

He explained that the platforms provide an opportunity for motorists to pay for their road tax in their respective places across the country without delay.

Meanwhile, Mr Mubanga assured motorists that the network system failure which was experienced in Livingstone in Southern Province has been rectified and working normally.

He stated that any breakdown that motorists have experienced regarding the system has been worked upon adding that the system is working perfectly well.

“Any occasion when the system was not functioning properly was a one off case because often times the system is accessible,” he said.

Mr Mubanga stressed that if one outlet is not working at one particular time, motorists have the option of visiting other service outlets to make their payments.

He said the several outlets are at the disposal of the motorists to make their lives comfortable and allow them space to make their payments in real business time.

  1. can you be more precise than this because some post offices do not offer RTSA services. For example Sereje Post Office. Let me know if you have started today.pliz.

  2. This man sounds gibbish “… visiting other service outlets to make their payments” still does not make sense to some of us. Just what is he trying to say. For me other socalled outlets means traveling all the way to Lusaka over 100km away and thats convenient to him. RATSA has too many du.ll men and women. One just wonders how some of these g.oons got their jobs there. Its pathetic!
    What a disaster!!!
