    • Clear lack of seriousness and leadership …its no wonder substandard roads are being created at a whooping $1 million per kilometre without even adopting any value management practices.

    • Pa Katuba Toll Gate pali nchito!! No wonder there is always traffic congestion there, now we know!! Katuba, here we come!!

  1. Indeed we should be more serious. Tolls have been collected for years now and no noticeable improvement in the state or quality of road infrastructure. All the countries represented here , without exception have better roads than Zambia.

  2. PF government makes rules, regulations and policies which they change to suit the new program just like animal farm. They are not bothered by what is negatively affecting the ordinary citizen because they will do anything to suppress you. They will call you ba Red,UPND supporter, the police will docket for your, your employer will fire and the PF cadres will beat.
Toll gates were built to generate funds for road maintenance and construction, but now things have changed. First the money was stolen and later found. There is no proof whether the money was really stolen or really found. Next is partying enjoying their sweat I wish Zampost ,UNZA,NHA workers were invited to see and learn how their counterpart were doing.
So parties are used as a conduit pipe for millions of kwacha to finance PF…

  3. So parties are used as a conduit pipe for millions of kwacha to finance PF under world activities like bribing defectors. GBM cost more than 300 members or cadres following him. Hiring of cadres from one town to another. Cadres employed to operate as Black Panthers ; people doing bad things to please their superiors without getting instructions from higher authority. For instance those guys threatening Kambwili . Proof no one was arrested to-date. They can even burn the market and accuse their worst enemy where everyone will easily believe or convinced

  4. So this is where the moneys for toll gates are going? What’s wrong with this country? Why can’t people be serious for once? We have very little resources and we choose to misuse them by organizing unnecessary parties.

  5. Even at funerals beer is served.

Hard working employees who have achieved a lot take off time to relax and bond and you are up in fits.

Love Chagwa and not the Masked Unsmiling one

    • That’s what’s wrong with African culture, you expect to be fed or eat at the house of mourning.
Learn to eat and drink at your own expense.

  6. One solution to the plastics paradox. Was to recycle plastics. In to road building materials.Peter Carlos Hinds.

  7. Barbados has banned plastic.Barbados could legalize the bow and arrow next.Plastics will always be a feature in modern medicine and car manufacture.Peter Carlos Hinds.

  8. Given the bad economic situation, I hope the participants bought tickets to pay for the expenses of this unproductive event

  9. How much was spent on unveiling a chitenge and who will be wearing thst same chitenge? How is the govt money which has been spent on this useless venture be recovered? Useless venture in that ministries have not been funded for months when nrfa spend on hotel conference to launch a chitenge not to forget millions paid to the designer and printing abroad (abroad). Is nfra now going to be selling chitenges and collecting tolls at the same time?

And your chitenge is a bad designed chitenge.

  10. Misplaced priorities, the whole NRFA executive must be probed and sent to jail. Why not give that money to local government who are struggling to pay salaries to council workers? This is why we always behind.

  11. Shame Shame Shame….Zambians are paying toll fees which have gone into chitenge material!!! Will all road users be given 2 mts of chitenge after paying till fees? what a sham! the material is so so badly designed. no sane Zambian can wear it. This was just entertainment for the Malawian visitors.
