Evangelical Christians have flocked to Israel for a mass faith-healing by a celebrity Nigerian pastor outside Jesus’s hometown of Nazareth.
Some worshippers sang in various languages while others collapsed and even vomited during Sunday’s event, presided over by T.B. Joshua, who has amassed millions of followers on social media from his base in the Nigerian city of Lagos.
“Jesus’s father, Joseph, and his mother, Mary, came from here. What a blessing. No other place would have been better for Jesus to come from. It was God’s design,” Joshua told the crowd gathered in a sun-baked stadium on Mount Precipice.
When the self-described prophet descended from the stage to bless attendees, placing his hand on their heads, several declared themselves healed from sickness or infirmity. Attendants stood ready to catch those who fainted in excitement.
Minerva Resendiz, from Mexico, said she had come to see Joshua as part of the two-day gathering “to ask for healing, for a breakthrough … to resolve conflicts in the family”.
“I would like that (all people) could see a miracle through Jesus Christ,” Resendiz, 40, said. Other pilgrims came from China, Russia and African and South American countries.
Joshua founded and leads an evangelical ministry called The Synagogue, Church of All Nations. His Christian television network, Emmanuel TV, says it is Youtube’s most subscribed to ministry channel with well over one million followers.
Evangelicals made up roughly half of the more than 2 million Christian pilgrims who visited Israel in 2018, according to the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem, which oversees evangelical outreach to Israel.

Anyone that sells anointing water is a fake pastor.
Tuberculosis Joshua and Bushiri are indeed fake pastors preying on the poorest and dullest that this earth can offer.
This man has never answered for the death of 100 believers at his church and the Nigerian government has failed to subpoena him. Just imagine if that had happened to white people. Joshua would have been made to pay but black lives dont matter.
Even the South African government who lost 90 citizens has just shut up. If God is the one who has scared the Nigerian and South African governments from action then this God is against justice. Why would he be? People like the Palestinians will ask the same question since they are murdered everyday by people who claim to be God’s favorite nation.

The healings in those meetings are medically validated, physically witnessed and absolutely real. AND do you honestly think a “fake” pastor can be risk to travel to Israel, UK, Paris to attend to tens of thousands of people in mass gatherings to fool around? Some of the people healed in those meetings are aetheists and non-believers…so come on, dont you think those same people would be the first to happily “expose” the man! And moreover, UK and Israel are not countries where a fake pastor can fool around, NO!
And by the way, do you know that you need medical records to validate whatever physical or sickness you need healing for? Eg if your bones are broken, you show x-rays etc to try to reduce skepticism among doubters. Its REAL!

I get surprised at this obsession of prophets. You would find portraits of the so called prophets in their homes but non of Jesus. People believe so much in these prophets and that their prophets have become greater than Jesus. I pray that God would open their eyes and claim the promises in the bible instead of trekking thousands of miles. so many people have used a lot of money to and receive these miracles yet they have lost their lives
@Kaluba, the People admire the ‘Prophets’ more than Jesus. You will not hear Jesus being talked about as much as the so called Prophets. May be because Jesus was poor Materially, by choice of course and the ‘Prophets’ are millionaires. The followers are usually after financial breakthroughs and healing. Jesus does not promise those things on a silver Platter. The Bible is clear that you need to work in order to eat. The ‘Prophets’ promise miracle money, so they are much more appealing than Jesus. Many of these followers as well as the Prophets themselves are just in a fantasy club. The fantasy club makes sense for the ‘Prophets’ because it is a sure Cash cow. It is very easy to separate Idi0ts from their money.
