The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has been de-registered.
Registrar of Societies canceled the registration certificate following a High Court ruling of 16th July 2019, in a matter where some members of the NDC took each other to court.
Home Affairs Public Relations Officer Nephas Chifuta disclosed said this in a statement today.
Mr Chifuta said in view of the court ruling the office of the Registrar of Societies has invoked section 13 (2) (a) of the societies Act Cap 19 of the laws of Zambia and canceled the registration certificate of the NDC.
Mr Chifuta said the NDC ceased to exist on August 21st, 2019.
He said that all members of the defunct NDC are advised to desist from conducting any activities.
Mr Chifuta said that anyone that will disregard the cancellation will be dealt with by the law.

I don’t even know what the compelling reason was to deregister the Party that the NDC could not have been given time to rectify…this is expected of a well meaning democratic system. CKinsultor was being selfish. The battle was as a result of a feud between Musenge and CKinsultor.
The commotion in the party was much too early. Had CKinsultor not bulldozed himself in the management of NDC and allowed intraparty democracy and embraced everyone’s opinion and views in the party, this would not have happened.
It was obvious that Musenge ZOOM was not having it. CKinsultor and Atanga and others did a ka corabo to disparage Musenge’s ZOOM camp.
You never know what to believe, earlier, it was reported that CKinsultor carried the day at the High Court. Today, this.

PF has so many problems, but it is foreseeable that UPND will be headless come 2021 elections. Yourself may have to start preparing to take over or sink together into oblivion with the party of Mazoka. The worst strategy has been dependence on HH’s doomed sectarian political dreams and the woes of Zambians. Out of the 17 million Zambians, a nationalist will emerge to take over from PF.

Mwenya Musenge was used to cause Kambwili to make wrong pronouncements in Parliament leading to the nullification of the Roan seat eventually causing a by-election in Roans, again Musenge was used to cause NDC to go to the court where they declared that they do not have a functioning constitution leading to the dissolution of the NDC, while Musenge may refuse that he is not being used, it is evident that the above problems for NDC have all come about because of MUSENGE, it is very safe now to say Musenge is a PF prostitute who should like PF not be given any political space on the Zambian political scene.

In my opinion, the law regarding political parties should be revisited. How come countries who have been established as democracys for centuries are thriving with four political parties or less while we have an uncountable number of parties with the same ideologies but only different in names.
Every one of the so called party form parties for the sole purpose of being funded even when they they do not have the clout to bring about the political and economical change that mother Zambia needs.

CK outlined this scheme a long time ago but did he nothing to prevent it from happening. Now its happening. He said their plan was to deregister the party – have fresh elections and take over Luanshya’s Roan seat and have full control of Luanshya. The embarrassment by PF in Luanshya elections was too much to bear and planning started on day one itself. They want that seat like never before and all these plans started on day one after the loss of the seat to NDC. PF will never rest till they wrestle the seat from NDC and the best is to deregister NDC first and declare the seat vacant. The worst of politics we have ever seen in Zambia by PF.
