Mighty Mufulira Wanderers have continued strengthening their squad for the upcoming transitional season with two new signings.
The Super League club on Tuesday announced central defender Hillary Mwiinga on a two-and-a-half-year permanent deal from Lumwana Radiants, days after capturing Ghanaian forward Evans Abu from Konkola Blades.
Abu has penned a two-and-a-half-year deal at Shinde Stadium.
Club CEO Evans Chiyanta unveiled the signings: “Hillary is a strong, modern centre-back with good experience in the league. We believe he will adapt quickly to our philosophy and strengthen our defensive options as we build a competitive team.”
Mwiinga said: “I am honoured to join Mufulira Wanderers, a club with great history and passionate supporters. I am ready to work hard, learn from the coaches and senior players, and give my best to help the team achieve its targets this season.”
Meanwhile, Mighty have also witnessed departures.
Key defender and captain Owen Mwamba has left Shinde after a 15-year tenure.
