President Hakainde Hichilema is tomorrow expected in Central Province for a two day working visit, where he is scheduled to inspect developmental projects and interact with the local people.
According to Central Province Permanent Secretary, Milner Mwanakampwe, the Head of State will tour Chitambo, Serenje, Mkushi, Kapiri Mposhi, Kabwe and Chibombo districts.
Dr Mwanakampwe tells the media in Kabwe, that President Hichilema is scheduled to touch down Mpelembe School Grounds in Chitambo at 10:00 hours in the morning where he will inspect the construction of student hostels at Chitambo Mission Hospital before addressing residents at Mpelembe School Grounds.
At 13: 00 hours the same day, President Hichilema will address a public meeting in Serenje district, and later proceed to Mkushi district where he will inspect the expansion of Mkushi District Hospital.
Government released K16 million for the construction of a male and children’s ward at the hospital to enhance its operations.
President Hichilema is also expected to address a public meeting in the district.
On Monday, the Head of State is scheduled to address public meetings in Kapiri Mposhi, Kabwe and Chibombo districts.
He is expected to fly back to Lusaka on Monday afternoon.
