Northern PF appeal to Guy Scott to recognise Sosala to get more votes

   • Bribing of the conference delegates is a danger to the party, yes we know some people have enough money to by their 17 yr old son a Hammer, they can bribe everyone if they wanted to. Even if they win at the conference they’d lose the presidential elections because they are not popular countrywide and people that vote country wide are much more than the people they bribed. If a person who is not the majority’s choice is elected at the conference it will result in many people voting for other candidates from other parties or simply stay away from the elections. So in the interest of the party and the nation even if you are given money, take it but vote for a candidate that you know will help the party win. After elections know one will follow you to demand their money.

     Well, Sata died with his conviction intact that Sosala was not to be recognised. Therefore anyone who changes this stance cant claiming to carry through the visions of Sata.

Clintons and Bush families visited, Mugabe visited zambia

     All this happened under PF, no other government before it could pull that in only 3 years.

   • Rubbish! you can’t pull wool over our eyes ever again! Donchi kubeba is now changed to donchi kusheta! No more lies! HH is the only leader who will bring sanity to the whole country and has already agreed to recognise Sosala as the chief elect of the Bemba chiefdom. All Sosala’s subjects will vote UPND especially that Nkandu Luo is still charged with looking after the chiefs welfare in PF.

   • How can he now be recognized when all along the PF failed to recognise him. Can we continue with this crap as if we are little children who are duped after a fake promise for the sake of buying them sweets so they can be happy. I wonder why elderly people can be taken for granted like that. I still sense a danger for this such that he can be recognised and later ditched by the same PF because they are unreliable.

     If you have the impression that I support UPND you have got the wrong end of the stick. In fact I have sought to understand, from the current scenario, if the country is ready for a Government of National Unity (GNU) for period to 2016. This government to include people from most sectors of the Zambian society (not necessarily from parliament). The GNU will prepared the country for proper elections in 2016. I know this is not possible for constitutional reasons because only a few MP can be nominated from outside parliament. HH will get to where PF started from (To use Sata’s term UPND is still young as a party to get into govt. and HH is, for lack of a better term, under five). PF is in a quandary and the moment and so is MMD. Zambia’s choices are none existent. We are back to…

   • where we started. When Zambia reverted back to multi party politics to be fair that seemed like a new dawn and it was. The then team of seasoned diplomats, businessmen and intellectuals got in to redirect the country. But it was not to be, Chiluba had his own ideas and the rest is history. The fact that it was done before although things went ‘t!ts up’ in the process shows that it can be attempted to re-orient the direction the country can move towards. As things are I always read the news to keep abreast with the goings on and live with the hope that good will come out of where we are.

4. I think it’s a brilliant idea to recognise that cadre as paramount whatever. We wouldn’t afford to lose another visionary leader prematurely. The traditional leaders must refrain from being so active in politics but remain sympathisers. That’s my opinion.

6. PF at it again with desperate and erroneous advice to an Acting president (under litigation, limited authority and not indigenous Zambian acting president). Use of word ‘indigenous’ Zambian is of profound and appropriate to our traditional heritage late alone Chitimukulu of the Bemba stock. How desperate can this be with our Bemba brothers and sisters this to exchange their God given heritage with temporary votes to seal royalty of the Chiti by one who could not be made to act by late president Sata. Let the chosen son of our soil perform the recognition of the Chiti, be it he or she hails from Ngoniland, Loziland, Tongaland or Bembaland. Lest we forget our moral cultural heritage rich in value.

10. Sata used to win even without the support of the so called chitimukulu. The chitimukulu who was there before Sosala was equally not in good books with Sata.

    So these areas have become peril urban and have multi – ethinic groupings not royal to the Chitimukulu. RB lined up chiefs on televisions in Southern, Northern and Luapula.

    In fact every one who wants to stand wants to carry on with Sata vision.

    One of Sata’s vision was not to install Sosala as Chitimukulu.
    Unless those who are campaigning that they will carry on with Sata’s vision are lying.

13. But why is UPND candidate so desperate to get to State House? Why? Desperation does not yield anything. Even those fake endorsements wont work. So HH must wait for 2027 to ever step foot in State House.

    We know that PF has delivered and will do so under Edgar Lungu. If my mother can see development at her door step, what can stop her from blessing me?

15. Whoever supports Sosala should think twice. That man is a thief and he has hindered a lot of developmental projects in Kasama. The airport was supposed to be upgraded to the international standards but because he sold out the land near the airport ,that didn’t happen and it will never happen. He is too selfish and as such, not fit to be a Chitimukulu.

18. This kama Evaristo Chellah is a fool, these are the same chaps who were misleading the late Sata on the Chitimukulu issue. The kama guy was so powerful especially when Kabimba was SG that he could threaten Civil Servants with impunity, he is even the one who caused the transferring of Obius Chisala as Provincial Minister of the Northern Province. He is probably quaking in his boots at the thought of the impending defeat of the PF by HH.

24. Only a substantive president can recognise paramount chief Chitimukulu. Chela sounds to be a turncoat. He may have received blood money from HH. If you choose to hold PF at a ransom you will draw a blank. Sata never refused to recognise Chitimukulu. If Kanyanta Sosala was not to be recognised by Sata, any other person would have been installed as Chitimukulu by now. The fact that Kanyanta Sosala is still Chitimukulu designate, is enough evidence that Sata had no intention to recognise any other person apart from Kanyanta Sosala. People who are trying to engulf Chitimukulu issues into political battles are power hungry wanting to ride on the Bemba support. They are tribalists like HH, whose faculty is ingrained in tribalism.

He is one of the persons who supported president Sata not to recognize our paramount chief and tried to eliminate GBM from PF for his greedy motives. He should just zip his mouth because he has no respect for the paramount Sosala.

      If His Royal Highness (HRH) misbehaved himself to this degree, then there is need for the govt to say so and to ask HRH to pay govt back.

      For the Bembas, he is their RH irrespective of his case before govt. It is to no surprise that PF in the North wants to use ‘his recognition by government’ as their bait.
