Ladies Association mark Youth Day

An association for ladies has called on youths in the country to strive, if they have to succeed in life.

The association known as Crested Cranes Ladies Club of the second Zambia Army regiment

said youths should be hardworking for them to achieve their goals.

Speaking during Youth Day fun fair at Arakan Barracks in Lusaka today, Association
Chairperson Chairperson Lillian Nyoni said youths should not engage themselves in
immoral acts such as drug abuse and premature sexual activities. 

And Bupilo Soap Actor Malekano Mwanza alias Kelvin called on the Government and the
corporate world to create employment for youths in the country.

Mr Mwanza said Government should fund projects that would help empower youths
economically.

He said these people would help youths become self reliant hence they would be able
to contribute to economic growth.

As future leaders, Mwanza further called on youths to abstain from sex and drugs.
