  6. Well done to all the children who graduated. At least its better than nothing. Its good to give these young ones a hope and a future.

  7. At least this is a good start, but I’m afraid the human tendency is to look for anything that looks easy to do than enduring until they see themselves through the process of becoming useful to the nation. These guys still need guidance to become resourceful citizens.

  8. Whoever is voted into office should work on the economy that Chiluba busted because these kids have relatives that are failing to take care of them due to unemployment etc.

  9. Its GRZ job to provide jobs for these kids. The GRZ has played their part. Now ist a challenge the private sector needs to join, by employing these kids as a show of confodence in this program.Imagine, if there is an agreement between GRZ and PVT sector like mines, maufacturers, service providers, etc.To give these kids 1 yr experience. You were all educated by GRZ nad how many of you are employed by GRZ.Be realistic, GRZ should bring in partners in this programs incl. banks to help with finance, not jobs.

  10. I HONESTLY DON’T UNDERSTAND HOW SOME OF YOU ZAMBIANS THINK. Back to the topic…i said cheers to the people involved in the project but again lets find the solution to stopping our children going to the streets in the first place…That means a combination of projects in agriculture, health, education, basically the whole system needs uplift so that we have enough food, jobs and people to look after the kids( some of these street kids have families but cant just afford to be looked after).

Good job…but find support projects for the street graduates

  14. You guys, you just want only you to be educated. The street children did not choose to be on the street and they are as human as you are. Actually we have more thieves in government offices. So stop disrespecting others. Imwe ba “Some of us” mwaonekela. Boooo!!!

  17. We have enough UNZA graduates that are looming our streets without jobs? Why make a big deal out of 70 street kids? simplyallocate them farm land and let them earn their living. This just a cheap gimick for the organization to seek for more funding? 360 graduates …..ba ka bolala fye?
