We Deserved to Beat Bafana-Renard

Share

Herve Renard says Zambia were deserved over South Africa on Wednesday especially after questions were asked about his teams caliber as African champions.

Renard said he was pleased with the team’s performance in the Nelson Mandela Challenge at Soccer City that Zambia won 1-0.

“We are neighbours, we are brothers but it was important to win even if it was only a friendly it was important to win,” Renard said.

“We are obliged (to win) because sometimes we heard some comments about our victory at the last Africa Cup.

“That means we have to continue on our way us we believe in ourselves.”

Zambia secured their victory over their archrivals through a 63rd minute goal scored by Collins Mbesuma.

  1. Was just happy to see one Deco Mulenga Mukuka playing. The youngster has got huge talent and please Rena take good care of my boy.

  2. So is Kalu going to file a complaint against SAFA the association based where he earns a living? LOL Which Bus did they damage by the way is it the green FAZ Bus with RSA plates donated to them by FIFA?
I like i always say its high time FAZ builds Training Facilities at home and cease this camping in RSA..what is FAZ doing with all that money..is it just sitting in Kalu’s current account.

  3. We have a 50,000 seater stadium in Lusaka in addition to Levy in Ndola. Each of these stadiums have excellent training pitches better that what we saw at soccer city.Next to this is the OYDC high performance centre with state of the art gym and swimming pool. Can FAZ tell me what more they need so that they are included so that Kalu stops sending our boys to SA for camping.

    • It should probably have read: Herve Renard says Zambia were deserved winners over South Africa on Wednesday especially after questions were asked about his team’s calibre as African champions.

  4. So how much did FAZ and Kalu make from this match given that it was sponsored by some blue chip companies and given that the fulfilled the side of the contract of rounding up all the overseas based players?

  5. Only retards destitutes doing drugs and illegal immigrants are interested in football

People who study when these football games are ongoing, are rewarded with great jobs and better partners such as a white partner
    Thanks

    • @ MUSOTA
WE CHINANGWA CHAMWANA IWEEE! WABA MUTWEEEEEEEE!
You regard yourself among the learned and ye your syntax is terrible. White suprmacy a work. You are a slave of your own skin, walifita chalipwa.

    • Mushota, a person who claims to be  ”educated” and  ”civilised” as you do would not use the word “retard” to describe another human being. Even those people society chooses to call “retards” deserve to be respected. They didn’t choose to be born that way. Yes, they may have reduced mental abilities compared to other people’s but that is no reason to insult them. Besides, football is a sport loved by the majority of people around the world.
To say that I  wish you had your own child with that condition for you to better understand….would be to pronounce a curse on you. Here is what I will say: You are an ill-mannered, arrogant and cheap tart who has taken up space on this planet that could be best used by others, a reject of the female species. You pratt!

    • @Mushota, u seem to sound highly backward and uneducated. Continue staying in a one room council flat and surving on social welfare wemwana wambasela iwe

  6. Jay jay n#5.Why is it difficult for you to celebrate with national soccer team than to critize? The boys have done a good job just congratulate them.

    • I’m not one to be easily swayed by a pointless friendly match with an average team like your blind Zambian football fan; in fact that’s were the problem lies only interested in short-term glorification…we don’t hold these corrupt administrators accountable as we are only interested in blindly cheering like ignorant field ni**ers then going to the bar to get blind-drunk after the match..I look at the bigger picture and the future.
      Wake up!!

    • What pointless friendlies are you on about? All FIFA teams had friendly games on this day.  Just leave us ‘ignorant field niggers’ to support our beloved Zambia then!

  8. These 1:0 wins are getting boring. What happened to the 4:0 Zambia we used to know? SA has no team and when we start meeting teams, the 1:0 will not be enough because they will score more than us.

  9. LT please, improve on your damn editorial skills, please! Do you honestly tell me, none of you guys can or read these threads before you publish them?

That said, congrats Zambia. We deserved to win yes! Bafana bafana are just minors, under fives like HH. Its just unfortunate that, their so-called teenage hooligans decided to throw rocks at the bus in thus injuringtwo of our players. We’ll forgive you but we won’t get. Mulibaiche sana, ZAMBIA kings of AFRICAN football period! Our team spirit never waivers! World cup is ours….I promise you nay sayers. You’ll remember my words. Can you just imagine what it would be like if Zambia, yes Zambia won the world cup?

Hey baibe what is happening with you there? Hey my love you seem to have overlooked your responsibilities and the most overlooked onus on your part is me right here. Yes me, no one but me. I keep on punching these buttons and, you on the other hand, you just keep on enjoying your new found habit of ignoring me. I am not playing with you here and consider every little step I take as a strong attempt in consolidating our future union. You do not know what tomorrow holds for you, thus do not count eggs before they hatch. You might even look for me when you least expect yourself to even dare do such a thing. Grab the opportunity whilst it is still presenting itself to you. Remember, tomorrow never comes.

  11. countrymen and women, we all love zambia and would want our team to reach greater heights but are let down by the not – so – inclusive selection mode employed by kalusha and renard. i have noticed that more serious administrators in the world of football go to extremes to just win a game, let alone a tournament of afcon magnitude. look at nigeria, they have called n/castle’s shola ameobi and chelsea’s moses who are english citizens of african decent. why is it that charles musonda’s children are not included in our team inspite the fact that they are among the most promising stars in the world? come on faz…..

  12. I am sorry if i upset anyone. I didn’t mean it to come out that way

Please accept my apology. It is just that I cant stand football.

    Thank you

  13. @Mushota#14
You and I both know that you have just read my above post, the one I am looking at right now and it is placed above your latest post. Come write something to me. Just get over that little misunderstanding we had last time.

  14. @Mushota#14
Stop frustrating me and I know that you are looking at my posts right now. Damn, lady and you are really enjoying yourself by mocking me. And this issue of making mockery out of me how is it going to end ? Okay you win, fine. I give up for now but I will lean towards my lap top for a while just in case the lady changes her mind. Bye my love enjoy your dreams, remember that I will love you.

  15. Indeed these noisy neighbours needed to be taught a lesson. They can have all the best soccer facilities and money, but we have the skill and the technique. They’re just pieces of wood who are very backward and belong to the stoneage. Shame on them!

  17. Jameni afadhali hawa wangepoteza. This is a shallow victory which should have been a total defeat for zed.You have lots of slums, dilapidated shacks for schools, urban filth breeding cholera and lots of unemployed idlers yet you waste time on aimless leather ball? Lets turn our energies to more productive pursuits than foolishball. Why do we wonder why foreigners have us by the neck economically when the answer is to ditch such aimless endevours.Ban football and ban EPL then you see zed will rise.Tuwache huu ujinga tafadhali.

  18. CONGRATULATIONS ZAMBIA,as much as i appreciate #20 on accountability and the bigger picture story i differ on entertainment causing blindness to political events,we simply take a break after the match we all go back and differ with the politician ,but only were necessary. All work and no play…….

  19. Mushota, I agree, only retard destitutes doing drugs and illegal immigrants like you are interested in football. If you were studying, you would not have time to be writing everyday, the way you do loser. You have inferiority complex who thinks anything white is superior. I am not a racist but I think black skin is the best.

  20. @Jay Jay #2, #5 & #22 You sound too emotional shikulu. You say you look at the bigger picture: This statement is too general ,I mean can you highlight on what kind of picture you look at so that maybe we can also look at it.

You say “the money is in Kalu’s current account”: What is the account number and where is this account held? We need the account number so that we call the police and charge alu with theft by public servant.

Holding the administrators accountable is a very civilised way of maintaining accountability in public offices but how can we do this?

You sound too bitter mwana and the more specific you become, the more your cause will be helped.

  21. @Mushota, I have read what you post here for sometime and I think you sound like someone who is really backwards in the mind. You know the tavern girl mentality? exactly.

Only a backward person would boast about marrying a white because this is very normal and too common but for a person with a very dodge background, marrying a white person is a life time achievement as they see it as a get way to upward social mobility. Ubututu no bu fonteen.

  22. @Top Notch, you are right on the spot! Mushota li fonteen namba last! Ukuya ku Scotland matoni, ukupwa ku musungu matoni, ukukwata akapepa ati PHD matoni. Ba Mushota mwakulile kwi mayo? Umusebanya kubena Lubemba? Ala mule tusebanya mayo. Shino nshiku abantu tabopwa na kubasungu pantu bala nunka mwe!
