8. The charges against Mumba are certainly very serious. Abuse of Office is a serious offence under the ACC Act and the earlier Mumba realises that its curtain closed for him the better. Putting Government funds in a personal account is a non starter, not to mention flouting procurement procedure under the ZPPA Act.
