Government warns ‘ fake ‘ PF cadres against illegal plot allocation

Government says the long arm of the law will visit persons who are selling plots illegally.

Lusaka Province Minister Freedom Sikazwe says time has come to put to an end the issues of illegal land allocation and encroachment in Lusaka Province.

Mr. Sikazwe said the PF government was aware of some people masquerading as Patriotic Front PF cadres involving themselves in illegal land allocation and encroachment .

He sternly warned that the long arm of the law would not spare anybody if found wanting irrespective of their respective political affiliation .

ZANIS reports that the Lusaka District Commissioner sounded the warning in Lusaka today when he officially opened the second quarter of the Provincial Coordinating Committee ( LPCC ) meeting at his office , yesterday.

He said all the illegal structures on the encroached pieces of land and plots will be demolished to restore sanity in Lusaka province.

Mr Sikazwe said that it was for this reason that government has instructed the police force to sternly deal with the perpetrators of lawlessness in the allocation of illegal land in Lusaka province regardless of political affiliation.

He however advised the planning authority to do their job to ensure that the right procedure of land allocation is followed.

Mr. Sikazwe has also expressed disappointment on the drainages that haven’t been worked on in Lusaka district.

He urged the area members of parliament to ensure that the drainage system in their respective constituencies s are worked on before the onset of the rains.

Mr. Sikazwe added that the issue of drainage should been securitized in the ongoing PDCC meeting to find a lasting solution to the problem.

  1. PF cadres can terrorize, maim and kill at will so what is a mere “illegal plot” allocation to them?

    • Who are you calling Nick? Don’t pull that B.S on me coz i’m waaaaaay better than your imaginary white man whom i understand you call Nick.

  2. Ki lisheha le! Esi buniti ki kuli mubuso wa PF kaufela U tomilwe fa masumo ya buhata ni bukebenga!

  4. two days ago my wife’s plot in after zns mutumbi was almost given out to unsuspecting buyers until some people informed us. we reported to Kaunda square police, the lady was very reluctant to write ,the next day when she wrote she hide the file until under pressure did she bring it out, police know whats going on, Govt come in.

  5. So … no one else sees that there is something wrong here? Why should PF cadres be given land over ordinary citizens. Isn’t this corruption? So they campain to bring PF into power, so PF won. I’m fine with that. What I don’t understand is why the PF is giving out MY land to cadres. If PF wants to award its cadres that is fine, let them use PF money. Just don’t give out MY LAND and expect me to pay for,

What you may not realise is that Zambia does not belong to PF or MMD or UPND, etc – it belongs to Zambians.

And if the government “gives out” land to a select few without giving the same opportunity to everyone, they are stealing from us.

    Wake up!

I’ll give you 90 days to let this sink in.
