  1. Why is it that zambianwatchdog.com should be the government official site to announce the evacuation of government officials. The trend is not falling good on PF government. Why are they shy to announce sickness. No one is safe or there are no safe places. We all at one time going to die. Shamenda must be ashammed. If the president is sick, which I believe it is normal, they should just own up so that we pray for him instead of ducking and diving. Or is it YOU will reap what your sow which is huning them (late levy). To Sakeni’s family I say may the mercifull GOD grant you straigth as you morn our beloved departed friend. MHSRIP

  2. Shamenda must agree that the 65 years as a retirement age is not ok. He retired at 55 and has come back through politics then want to advocate for my father? No Shamenda got his full retirement package but want to deny us so that we can not eat from our sweat. 60% of somebodies salary is not helpful. For example our beloved father, brother Sakeni has left this world at the age of 56, when will he ever eat from his sweat if he was in the civil service? Shamenda must call all the civil servants and not to impose this on us. I will guess that the PF does not want to pay the pensioners within their tenure of office until after 10 years.
To the family: We morn with you dear beloved family and may God who knows better how to comfort be with you all.

  3. reading the post newspaper is heart breaking. Why should i pay hard earned k3 to read fred mmembe personal battles with GBM. Common fred! Its too much, back off pliz. Pantu iwe taulamwinuna, kano GBM akafwe. Why fred? Why?!! U a dedicating all your arsenal at GBM. All the petty editorials disguised as advice, are not necessary. Rise above hatred, everyday its GBM this, that. Walikwata umutima ubi, ngawapata ninshi chapwa. Now u a qouting all and sundry to prove a point. Why always ve yo way.

GBM is entitled to boast, show off, laugh, dance, fight, eat, breath etc its his democratic right. Stop qouting catholic priests out of context.

    • You are VERY WRONG. A serving cabinet minister , as per our laws , is accorded a State funeral. It is not a wish or favour from PF, gvt or indeed the president, but from the people of Zambia!!!

  4. George Bush you have made lough with your statement, “kano GBM akafwe. why Fred, why!!”.
You have really concluded Mmembe’s evil heart cannever change.

  5. This report has no details. At least, you could have the courtesy of informing the readers, the cause of death. We didn’t even hear of his sickness, if at all he was sick. He is a minister for God’s sake…

  6. So sad, i hope the vacancy left will be given to the GL, dont shoot yet guys….. i read somewhere that even death is considered as job creation, i hope the follower will be more heathy so that we avoid this sad way of job creation, anyway, RIP.

    • .. .. wow you have no culture. You can’t insult Sakeni, he was a parent and a brother. Nobody insulted your father when he died, maybe you did insult him too. Even if you are out there in Germany, someone can send akalumba or it can start striking on your family. Nichi tamufwa imwe, Lesa ni malyotola.

    • It’s laughable that you are calling others as monkeys when where you are (Germany I presume) all blacks are called monkeys! This is a typcal case of a kettle calling a pot black! On a serious note, please have some decency to hide your in-born hatred at this sad time.

  7. MHSRIP. It doesn’t matter the cause of death. Its his democratic right to privacy just like any of us would want the same.I am sure a coroner’s report is available if you are that keen to know. We are only 11 million in the world and its always a shame to lose even one precious zambian. My condolences to the bereaved.

  8. @Contunua

    Parliament (Gazette) in 1964 determined

state funerals and they go by political status and they

are a responsibility of government and

    not the church.

  9. 56 is not so old. Our quality of life in Zambia is worrying. Here in China every street corner you go to you see old people at least in their 70’s. An average 50 year old Chinese woman looks like she is in her late 30’s.

    • 56 is indeed too young but the problem is lifestyle and imiti too much. The man looked older than dirty Shamende!Politicians change your lifestyles or else you will all finish especially ba PF you are very excited with power it’s gone too much to your heads.

  10. Yes why wasn’t Mazombwe given a state funeral. Sata gave Father Mwebe 3 days mourning in a National funeral. Mazombwe did more to Zambia than Father Mwebe. Maybe because he was from the east! Just talking.

    • I don’t know why Cardinal Mazombwe was not given a state funeral but to suggest that it was because he was from the east is ridiculous – it makes me wonder what you would say if he was from the south!

  11. The Bible in Psalm 105:15 says touch not my anointed, He is the one who signed the deportation order for Pastor victor Adeniji of Winners Chapel who was deported like a criminal. The Church pleaded with him. They are are all reaping now, weher is Anderson Phiri? Dr Effron Lungu? next people God is dealing with and he has already started is Racheal (PF Cadre, devils agent), Karabasis etc. These are enemies of the Kingdom of God.

  12. Rest in Piece Yama. What is disheartening is the fact that no of your colleagues visited you when in UTH.

To add salt to Injury, Wynter had already started identifying your predecessor in Mansa Central even before you were gone. Let’s now go and change this seat to another party.

  13. SASSY JANET be careful with your comment,Death is something so disheartening such that you cant comment like that. Today you can comment like that but tomorrow you will be humbled by the same dearth.
blessed his he that he has died honorably and accorded a state funeral some of you you will die in riots with that behavour!

  14. people from yr church are the ones who complained abiout yr unfaithful sarcastic pastor. Winners chapel is a church of armed robbers, prostututes, cheaters, wizards like u. wicked fool.
