TP Mazembe coach Patrice Carteron has welcomed the arrival of Zambia
defender Chongo Kabaso at the Lubumbashi club.
Kabaso, 21, joined Mazembe from FAZ Super League club Konkola Mine
Police last week.
Carteron told the club website that Kabaso was a great player in the making.
“Our new arrival Kabaso is a great player in the making whose
qualities have raised the interest of TP Mazembe and we are satisfied
with this signing,” Carteron said.
“This is also part of our commitment to build one of the best teams in
Africa and for the 2014 CAF Champions League.”
Kabaso was a member of the COSAFA Senior Challenge Cup winning Zambia squad in July and scored a goal in the final match against Zimbabwe.
He becomes the seventh high profile Chipolopolo player at Mazembe.

Every human being is an opportunist in search of wealth. If he was being paid pea nuts at Konkola MP then he has every right to make the move he did. After all, other than working for the country, he also needs to progress personally.
