Nkana’s judgement day looms

Share

Nkana are bracing for judgment day over the abandoned away game against Konkola Blades.

Nkana and Blades officials have been summoned for a FAZ Disciplinary Committee hearing at Football House on Friday, November 1.

The two clubs are amongst 14 teams summoned by the FAZ Disciplinary Committee over their respective abandoned games.

“You are hereby informed that the Disciplinary Committee will meet on Friday 1 November, 2013 at football Houser at 12h00 to resolve the abandoned league games, ” FAZ general secretary George Kasengele said in his summons to the club’s.

“You are there summoned to attend this important meeting without fail and you are further directed to send your executive member who are familiar with the case to represent your club.

“However, be informed that the absence of your representatives shall not stop the committee to proceed with the case.”

Blades and Nkana’s game was abandoned in the 87th minute at Konkola Stadium in Chililabombwe on October 27.

This is after Blades supporter’s allegedly mocked Nkana fans as their team was trailing 1-0 and starring at the serious prospect of enduring a bruising second successive league defeat igniting a punch-up that police struggled to quell.

  1. Ba Nostradamus, do you honestly watch football? The players have got nothing to do with this case that Nkana is facing or the hooliganism that happened at Konkola. You can wish all you want but know for a fact that Nkana is representing Zambia this year, Nkana is winning the league this year and it will be Nkana’s 12th title.

    Shame on you haters!!!!!

  2. I just hope everything that contributed to the punch up wil be taken into consideration. Watching football is supposed to be a relaxing time not throwing of fists. Let us hope for a fair unbiased decision.

  3. I like this;;;

This is after Blades supporter’s allegedly mocked Nkana fans as their team was trailing 1-0 and starring at the serious prospect of enduring a bruising second successive league defeat igniting a punch-up that police struggled to quell.

So that was the main cause of the abandOnement PERIOD

    • IWE THERE IS MOCKING IN FOOTBALL IT DOESN’T MEAN IF YOU ARE MOCKED THEN YOU SHOULD START A FIGHT. YOU NKANA YOU MOCK TEAMS BUT THEY DO NOT FIGHT YOU. IF YOU BASING MOCKERY FOR YOU TO START UP THAT FIGHT THEN YOU SICK IN YOUR HEADS

  4. provision of security in and outside any stadium lies squarely on the hosting team.Reason given for this abandonment was “non provision of adequate security”.Therefore i find Konkola guilty and i sentence them to “less 3 points until the end of the season”.Court rise………………………..

  5. People you are judging Nkana wrongly by portraying the past image of Nkana,Remember that Nkana was beaten by Nkwanzi at home ground but not even a single soccer fan throw an object in the pitch this is the evidence enough to show that the Club is disciplined now.So I think Blades are at fault for not providing enough security being the host team and for throwing object when Nkana player is taking a corner. Those are points enough to rescue Nkana from being vindicated. All in all hooliganism should not be allowed, so whoever is at fault should be punished.

    • YOU WANTED KAMFINSA TO COME JUST BECAUSE NI BA NKANA ABA FYONGO E BALEISA. THE SECURITY WAS ENOUGH. IF YOU WANT ENOUGH SECURITY TELL GOVT TO EMPLOY MORE POLICE OFFICERS. WHY DON’T WE EXPERIENCE THE SAME WITH THE OTHER TEAMS. JUST WIN THE REST OF THE GAMES NOT CAUSING CONFUSION SO THAT YOU SAY THAT THERE WAS NO SECURITY. WE KNOW YOU ARE AFRAID OF POWER DYNAMOS,ZESCO AND RED ARROWS. BA FAZ E BAMITUMPIKA IF IT WERE ME THIS CLUB COULD HAVE BEEN HISTORY BY NOW

  6. U CANT HAVE A TEAM LIKE NKANA TO REPRESENT US AT CONTINENTAL FOOTBALL IT WILL BE UN EMBERASSEMENT TO THE WORLD THOSE THUGS HAV NO BRAINS THEREFORE THE LEAGUE GOES TO BRAVO RANGERS OR ZESCO.
…AND FAZ PLEASE WE NEED A QUICK AND HARSH PUNISHMENT .

  7. Even in the commentry box we could hear on radio nkana supporters insulting the referee for awarding blades the penalty..after that Nkana supporters thought that there team will equalize but to no vail until 7minutes to full time. Then the sunami of throwing alls sorts of missiles erupted.was it because they were coming from a city with an image depicting mposamabwe? The problem is that these supporters first drink Chibuku and smoke banje before getting into stadiums. They immitate there Chief of hooligans the late Twig Lee.

  8. wat ever the decision today nkana is wining the remaing games, wen we play big teams we walop them . so ba zescolo ti zimya mailo. viva nkana. haters go suck yo selves

  9. Watching the game on TV. Who was that man, putting on spectacles, standing with the match officials seemly giving them instructions not to continue with game?

  10. @ LAHLEE I do not understand why you are reacting that way, what I want to see in any Zambian soccer is discipline.Let us wait the outcome from the FAZ Disciplinary Committee.

  11. STRONG SOURCES HAVE REVIEWED THAT FAZ HAVE PASSED THE ACTION TO REMOVE 6 POINTS FROM NKANA AND TO PLAY ALL THE REMAINING GAMES AWAY ,AND NO SUPPOTERS THE GAMES WILL ONLY BE WATCHED BY POLICE MEN AND NO RED JERSEY .
THIS MEANS ZESCO IS ON TOP ,NCHANGA SECOND .
WEL DONE FAZ………..THIS IS VERY FAIR……..

  12. Iwe Nganga, you are a low thinker. How do u get points from the team which purely won the match. I wish you knew that 70% of the so called Nkana fans are not yet ‘caged and tamed’ to swallow the loses being experienced. These Nkana hooligans last year when playing Konkola Mine Police FC forced themselves into the stadium without paying by pouring Shake shake and urine on the people manning gates. Nkana is getting back to hell because they are devils.

  13. This kind of behaviour ba Nkana please change for the best pliz and consider defeat so that next time u ll do better, i like your fighting spirit were goal scoring is concern.
