Share

Fr. Frank Bwalya has urged Zambia to win the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations that kicked off in Equatorial Guinea yesterday.

Chipolopolo launches their AFCON campaign on Sunday evening with a Group B opener against DR. Congo in Ebebiyin.

Fr. Bwalya, the leader of opposition Alliance for Better Zambia (ABZ), wished Chipolopolo lucky.

“We want to say to the Chipolopolo Boys that we love them. We want them to make us proud again by winning the Africa Cup.

“After losing President Michael Sata we have been in mourning and I think winning the Africa Cup again will really make us very happy,” he said.

Honour Janza’s side will also face Tunisia and Cape Verde in the first round.

“We are quiet divided at the moment because of elections but if the Africa Cup comes we will forget about all these political squabbles, sing together and rejoice.”

Fr. Bwalya added:” We are saying to them please bring the cup home unite us, come and make us feel happy.

A top ranking PF friend of mine told me IT IS TRUE.

PF has several plans to rig this election.

That top ranking PF friend of mine also told me the only concern PF has is that the majority of OP officers are against rigging. It is through these OP officers that such info is leaking out, and it is these OP officers that will frustrate PF machinations.

Pay attention to the news as the nears: 48Hours

  1. Chipolopolo must beat DR Congo to give us a taste of how sweet it’s going to be on Wednesday when we humiliate and send PF into political oblivion.

    • You are wrong my brother. The boys will lift the cup and EL will host them at state house in a months time. Remember they won the cup when Micheal (pf)came into office. El has promised to continue the legacy!! Do not worry though, HH will be invited to the banquet.

  2. The media in Zambia is not serious and consequently are giving unnecessary coverage to comedians like Frank Bwalya. The media must be serious and find serious citizens and get views from such serious citizens. Leave comedians like Frank Bwalya alone. The Zambian Media has seriously diluted national matters!

  3. A day is coming when we shall one presido candidate his excellence. HH is close to be the one. Let us all vote against pf violence, lies and untrustable leaders.

  4. This priest turned into a political cadre would have been serving jail term if he slaughtered that chicken in the Western countries. Animals in the West have certain rights to protect them from cruel human beings like Frank Bwalya. He is lucky he did in a country where lawlessness is tolerated – in a country where it is normal to walk around with pangas and maim innocent civilians in the full view of police officers. The same pangas were used to elect a certain presidential candidate at a sham convention. Raising pangas, hands and legs in the air decided the PF presidential candidate.

  5. The irony of being in the diaspora is that you automatically are classified as an armchair critic. That’s why some of us have come back to cast our vote then we will go back to our adoptive country. Truth be told, I didn’t expect to see what I have seen in Zambia, if we move at this pace of development, Zambia will be one of the most developed countries is Africa. Kudos to PF for the massive infrastructure development they have implemented. I doubt any economic manager is going to score more than what PF has done. I endorse the candidature of Edgar Chagwa Lungu as the man fit to keep Zambia on this growth trajectory. It will be premature to change government now and we may end up losing the gains we have thus far recorded. For my friends and compatriots in the diaspora, seeing is…

    • @ MB, I thought people from the diaspora had complete exposure and therefore their review of things would not be superficial? How can you ignore the important issue of the Financing Model used to finance this infrastructure development? Truth be told, financing infrastructure development using hard currency debt in a country with a weakening currency is fundamentally flawed. In case you have forgotten, please review for yourself the factors that led to Zambia’s Debt Trap which was only resolved through the painful HIPC Initiative. Some Zambians forget easily!

  6. @C Kasonde, you are write. This country is a total joke. There are more dignified citizens and experts who these media people could have contacted for more informed and credible opinions/views, instead of this clown. Without a doubt, the calibre and competences of our media professionals need up-scaling for them to play their rightful role in our developmental process. For now our media houses and their staff are undermining our developmental efforts because they are being used more as tools for deceiving and manipulating the same citizens whose interests they should be protecting. The level of media deceit and manipulation is heightened during periods of elections like now!
