Mufulira Wanderers plotting to shock Zesco United

Share

Mufulira Wanderers coach Manfred Chabinga says a draw is the worst result Mighty wants to collect in Sunday’s FAZ Super League match against champions Zesco United.

Wanderers’ impressive start to the season will be tested when they visit Zesco at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Sunday.

Ahead of this weekends round four games, the legendary Mufulira club is second on the table with six points from three games.

“We cannot under-estimate Zesco We have to prepare ourselves adquately,” Chabinga said.

Zesco have three points from one game they have played so far owing to their CAF Champions League outing that ended last weekend when they were booted out by AS Kaloum of Guinea.

“A draw is the worst result we expect but should we win? We will be over the moon,” Chabinga said.

Zesco beat Wanderers 2-0 in the two sides last meeting which came at the quaterfinal stage of the 2014 Barclays Cup in Lusaka.
