  2. Congratulations Mr Liwewe…this is excellent news; this is how its supposed bringing all great minds together with one goal in mind – synergy. I hope you try to persuade the executive to put some of those progressive articles you were posting on your Facebook page into practice.

    • Was he really fired at supersport? I hope he is not broke and desperate like Great Galu was. Desperate chaps who are stunted in past glories have a tendency to embezzle

  4. Whilst I say congrats to Ponga, I wish to remind him that no man is an island. If & when he reads this he will know what I mean. Ponga & his friend Charles Nshimbi wanted to get hands on Power dynamos they failed and instead went for Kitwe United which they ruined. I just hope this executive won’t be greedy.

  7. Congratulations Ponga. Wishing you all the best. Remember, even though Ande (As we used to call him at CBU) is your long friend from the CBU days, please separate friendship and work. Same for you Andrew. For us who know the insights of FAZ, the appointment of George Kasengele as GS was the beginning of the downfall of Kalu because of their close friendship. Just a word of caution.

  12. Congratulations young brother of Linda Liwewe of the UNZANDO BAcc class of 1981-85. We witnessed Fred Membe, Rogers Chisambi and Okello bombard the wamuyaya syndrome in their Bulwark. Those were the days of Lufwendo Nguleka (MHSRIP), Maliwa Maliwa (MHSRIP), Astridah ‘the neck’ Malungisa (MHRIP),’Greenwood’ Kimodo, Moods Mudenda, Katambo, Royd Chisanga, Robert ‘Buzz’ Banda, Henry Biyela (MHSRIP), Aaron Chungu, Peter Lesa (kukonda tennis), Richard Simango, Florence Muhundika, Stimela, Soka Kapunda, mother perpetual (lol) et al
Remember the terror of Dr Kamya’s Economics 210?! What of Dr Jani’s calculus (derivatives and integration)?

  14. Intellectuals have taken over FAZ house and now lets get the ball rolling, focus on talent development, make football a recreational sport, help make football attire and equipment accessible, open FAZ offices in all the provinces and districts, staff the offices with volunteers to coordinate and run the schedule, start from bottom up and don’t leave any place un attended. Congratulations Ponga.. you are well qualified for the job.
