In The Kitchen With Kanta : Easy Bake Chicken

This is a dish that I like to make when I want to impress, but feel too lazy to go all out. This Easy Bake Chicken looks like a lot of effort went into making it, when really it is such an easy and simple dish to prepare.  And of course it doesn’t just look good it tastes good too.  So next time you are having the in laws over and you are trying to show off, why not try this.  Enjoy!!


  • 1 packet of chicken, breast, thigh and legs
  • 1 pkg. Italian dressing,
  • Potatoes, chopped
  • Veggies, carrots, red onions, cherry tomatoes
  • 113g of butter
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 tsps Garlic powder


Marinade the chicken with paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper; and place it in a 9×13 inch ovenproof dish.

Chop up the carrots and onions and mix them with the potatoes, then spread them in and around the chicken.

Melt the butter in the microwave, about 40 seconds and pour it over the top of the chicken, veggies and potatoes.  Add extra salt and pepper for flavour.  Cover with foil, and bake at 175 degrees C for one hour.


It’s as simple as that. Serve hot with a beverage of your choice and enjoy!
