Parliament is scheduled to resume sittings this week on Tuesday for a session that will last an estimated five weeks.

Government chief whip Richard Musukwa has told ZNBC news that during the session, government is expected to push forward over ten bills in the House among them the Constituency Development Fund -CDF- bill.

And Mr. Musukwa says President Edgar Lungu is next month planned to address the House on various national issues.

He says the Head of State will among other things highlight the trajectory of the set development plans by the PF government.

Mr Musukwa has announced that Parliament has also extended the Vice President’s question time from 30 to 45 minutes to accord enough time for members of Parliament.

He said MPs will also be allowed to use the their tablets and access internet for quality debates and as part of modernisation.

    • Administrator of this project, candidly ask yourself tough expert questions on Data governance measure you have put into this project. Requirement Gathered aside, do an End-to-End analysis. If possible allow a few experts to put up a mock attack to help you know the vulnerability. Otherwise, get ready for more damaging leakages.

  1. I pray some don’t fall into a temptation of surfing the net throughout their session. If using internet bundles settled by tax payers, there may be need to put up some filters. Otherwise FB and entire blogosphere community, here comes your vulnerable MPs. Consider strong encryption. Otherwise, we will be sharing your devices with impunity. Sad but real in the age of cyber warfare.

  2. What surprised me was the chief whip Musukwa swinging on his chair whilst giving the brief. Sharp journalists would normally give advice like don’t swing as you are addressing the press. The man was not composed, but do these guys undergo orientation. I think he is a good guy but needs to be helped

  3. Access what under this dictatorship? They will be restricted to only state sponsored websites praising lungu. Please opposition mps this is a trap as they will be hacking those tablets to keep a tab on you..I plead with you all not to use your tablets. This is a dictatorship

  4. Access internet for what? Connecting to Facebook and Whatsup chatting to the Parliament Motel prozzies. These Grade 12 empty tins couldn’t read the constitution surely what can the possibly research online…really laughable.
