United Party for National Development (UPND) President Hakainde Hichilema’s Media Director Clayson Hamasaka has revealed that almost the entire Western Province UPND Provincial Executive Committee alongside some journalists has been arrested.
Hamasaka noted that UPND Provincial Executive Committee in Western Province was this morning with some journalists who were invited to cover the media briefing.
He explicated that the UPND western Province Committee Members were arrested for merely holding a Press Briefing at their provincial offices where they called for the release of their incarcerated leader Hakainde Hichilema.
“Almost the entire Western Province UPND Provincial Executive Committee plus some journalists have been arrested this morning for merely holding a Press Briefing at their provincial offices where they called for the release of their incarcerated leader” Hamasaka said
Today the UPND circulated a media invitation on social media asking for coverage from Journalists at the UPND Mongu Provincial Office and that was circulated by the UPND party Spokesperson Charles Kakoma.
