Nothing criminal Mr Senior Citizen and there’s no sabotage involved. You should know that this is cold season. For most offices which aren’t fitted with air cons, occupants tend to come with their own heaters to keep them warm. Due to negligence, people forget to switch off these heaters when they go home, or for those working in night shifts like hospitals, they keep them on through the night. These being sub-standard products, (Chinese Fongkong products), they tend to give up easily, hence blowing up and causing fires.
It will be very difficult for upnd to come and win public confidence in 2021 because all Zambians now know that it’s upnd behind all the fires. You can’t promise amagedon and later on volcanoes and expect people to love you when what you promised is affecting their living. How is upnd going to deny what is on record.

How come the State is not suspecting sabotage from UPND Arsonists? Lungu and PF mishandled the City Market Fire. Lets hope Lungu has realised the importance of investigating b4 pointing fingers to the Opposition. As it turns out the City Market fire was an inside job and the fire was ignited by the State and PF Operatives. HH and UPND had no hand in the fire and neither was Larry Mweetwa involved. I totally agree. There could have been a heater in the ICU quite alright but a clever saboteur could have taken advantage and committed arson. Just my thinking anyway, given the volatile situation we are living in.

I have said this before, Tanzania went through a similar situation until they initiated a comprehensive fire safety policy with a professional fire commissioner. Fire extinguishers and smoke alarms were made mandatory.
