    • Lombe, there is nothing wrong with that. In case you didn’t know, we even have Zambians who are Honorary Consuls of other countries. Do your research properly before you start exposing your ignorance. You chaps nowadays like commenting and criticising anything just for the sake of it but in the process expose your ignorance. Learn and observe and if you don’t understand anything research. Speech is silver….

    • I think the man asked genuinely. Some people these days are also in the habit of castigating for nothing. Why don’t you tell him since he wanted to be educated. You are referring him to do research. Ndiyer research yamene achita iyo we!

    • Isaac true that, Lombe is just asking mwe, coz its kind strange, what’s a honorary consul anyway ? Maybe Ba Timbalife can teach us ?

    • Timbalife
Do not be quick to condemn, your comment sounds rather immature.I also notice that you do not answer his question. What is the use of knowledge if you would rather keep it in your pocket and castigate those who want to know? You might as well throw it away.

  1. @Timbalife, #3.1 thank you sir for educating this group! All it wants is to know something so that it can attack the president and anything positive! It can’t attack the white woman, if she were black, even with no information it was going to attack simply because someone was with president! That is how pathetic Hing’ombe Hiledi Has become in Zambian politics.

  2. @Enka, #2 Judas Iscariot! Your words sounds familiar! Judas to Mary who poured an expensive perfume on Jesus’ feet and used her hair to wipe it, “We could have sold that perfume and given the money to the poor!” Sounds familiar? The problem is not about the taxpayer evil-hearted man! It is about your hate in your heart.

  3. Wonderful, that we have Honorary Consul of the Republic of Zambia in Colorado Cherri Briggs on board. Our govn’t is international!

  4. HONORARY CONSUL

A Honorary Consul is a private citizen whom a foreign government has chosen to represent them in the citizen’s country of nationality. A Honorary Consul may exist in a country where a respective foreign government has no diplomatic mission or where the diplomatic mission is located far away for the conduct of diplomatic affairs. For instance, Zambia has diplomatic missions in Washington and New York, but may need a Honorary Consul in Colorado or California to address Zambia’s interests in that part of the USA because the Washington and New York missions may be too far. A Honorary Consul is not a professional diplomat. It can be anyone of good standing a foreign government has agreed to represent their interests. The position is not salaried, it’s voluntary.
