That KK thing killed my family in Chinsali during Lenshina pilgrimage to Kasomo village. The blood of my people still crying for justice.
@Dj7 I totally agree with you. KK is no hero. My mother was nearly killed for trying to buy fish at a market without showing that she was a card carrying member of UNIP. They…made her buy 3 UNIP cards before she could even enter the market, while this man called the people who refused to toll the ONE PARTY line, “stupid *****s.” I will personally never forget the especially the last 11 years (1980-1991) of his reign – terrible!!
DJ7 you were lucky that “thing” didn’t get you also! That thing educated me free of charge from grade one to university! The thing also helped us united and avoided conflict. We lived “Ubuntu” with mutual respect to one another! The thing helped me plays all sports basketball, table tennis, hockey- which sport didn’t we play! However, the thing was human like all of us and I’m sure you don’t mean the thing personally killed your family! Long live KK!
LT Picture chaos!
President Lungu greeting KK,
Minister of Health greeting Ugandan’s ex VP.
Group photo?
But the photo caption description is either
“Zambia’s first President Dr Kenneth David Kaunda receives the 2018 UNIADS leadership Award “
Or
“2018 UNIADS leadership Award”
I was thinking the same thing, you mean they do not know the other people in the pictures. I know Dr. Were retired UNFPA a powerful woman and former Vice of Uganda Specioza Kazibwe at least mention their names, how will our children know them. Terrible journalism indeed kwati nimanyengwe/ukubuta/masebela.
Language deficiency.
All of us know and appreciate the role KK played in the liberation of our homeland. He has already received a number of accolades both local and abroad. But should we keep worshipping him at the expense of delivering development to the poor? Let KK rest at home. He is an old man.The true measure of one’s Presidency will be on how he improved the poor people’s lives, not how many awards you gave the former leaders who are already living well.
My Point# Learn to appreciate elders even the time of Jesus the poor were still there period.
Bad journalism. Pic # 5..Edgar Lungu (right)..of course he cant be (left) but why not mention who is on the left?
@LT and Bloggers:
I am lost here. Is it UNIADS or UNAIDS?
I thought it is a United Nations AIDS award – which would be written as UNAIDS and not UNIADS?
Kikiki, you have just added to the confusion! Which bloggers?!? Google what blogger means!
Taxpayer money in powers people, but without recognition to the taxpayers.
