National Division One side Forest Rangers have appointed Ronald Mukosha as head coach on a two-year contract.
Mukosha was unveiled on Monday after joining from Super League club Mutondo Stars.
The charismatic coach guided Mutondo to Super League survival at the end of the 2025/26 season.
“We are pleased to announce the appointment of Ronald Mukosha as Head Coach of Forest Rangers Football Club on a two-year contract, effective immediately, as we intensify our push for promotion to the Premier League,” the club announced in a statement.
Mukosha’s immediate task is to help Forest return to the Super League after two seasons in the lower division.
“Coach Mukosha joins us from Mutondo Stars, where he served as Head Coach. He brings a wealth of technical expertise and proven leadership that we believe will strengthen our ambitions at Dola Hill,” the statement read.
Mukosha takes over from Boyd Mulwanda, whose contract was not renewed.
“We thank the coach Boyd Mulwanda for his dedication, professionalism, and service during his tenure, and wish him every success in his future endeavours,” the club said.
Forest finished number five in the National League with 58 points, six points behind Roan United, who secured the last promotion spot.
