Patson Daka joins Zambia camp

Patson Daka and three other European-based players on Tuesday boosted Zambia’s camp ahead of Saturday’s 2018 FIFA World Cup Group B qualifier against Cameroon.

Daka together with his club mate at Austrian club RB Salzburg, Enoch Mwepu, joined camp at lunchtime on Tuesday in Ndola.

The duo arrived in camp together with Belgium-based midfielder Emmanuel Banda of KV Oostende and Edward Chilufya from Swedish club Djungardens.

The quartet joined Zambia’s second day of practice on Tuesday afternoon on the Levy Stadium annex pitch halfway through the session where they were restricted to just light training.

Meanwhile, the Russian-based duo of striker Fashion Sakala of Spartak Moscow 2 and defender Stopilla Sunzu from Arsenal Tula were expected late on Tuesday to complete the European-based call-ups 24 hours after five South African-based players joined camp.
