PRO’S HIT LIST: SA PSL watch

Mukuka Mulenga returned to action on Wednesday after a brief injury layoff in what was a busy mid-week for Zambian players in the South African PSL.

-In Wednesday’s action, defender Davies Nkausu was on the bench for seventh placed Pretoria University in their 1-0 home loss to twelfth positioned Platinum Stars.

-Goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene replaced Denis Onyango in the 78th minute of second placed Mamelodi Sundowns’ 5-0 home win over Polokwane City.
Defender Joseph Musonda played full game for eighth positioned Polokwane.

-Striker Collins Mbesuma played the full game but was not on target in fourth from bottom Mpumalanga Black Aces 2-1 away loss at club Ajax Cape Town.
Forward Clifford Mulenga did not make the fifth placed sides team.

-Midfielder Mukuka Mulenga returned from a two-week injury layoff to start from sixth placed Bloemfontein Celtic in their 1-0 home win over tenth position SuperSport United.
Mukuka was substituted in the 68th minute.

-In Tuesday’s action, striker Bornwell Mwape was substituted in stoppage time of bottom placed side Amazalu’s 3-1 home win over Bidvest Wits but was not on target.
Ex-Zambia captain Christopher Katongo came on in the 46th minute for fourth place Wits but did not score.

-Still on Tuesday, striker Musonda Mwape made his second PSL appearance for number three side Orlando Pirates in their 2-0 home win over Chippa United.
Mwape came on in the 78th minute but was not on target.
