  1. He was head of state with a concept to ring Democracy and Development.
Instead he had Vanity buying hundreds of shoes and suits,Paid money from state house in cash for supporting groups,Imprisoned his enemies like KK (On Xmas Day for that matter),Allowed people like Mushota to draw millions in cash,Mysterious deaths of political enemies, polarised Zambians by Tribe.
    Talk about privitisation with Chitalu.
    Rich CV indeeed!

  2. At the end of it all, a man is just but a man…flesh and blood. Titus was persecuted for the wrongs he did. He slept with a married man’s wife for quite some time before he finally married her. This is like the way king David behaved, sent men to the frontline so that they could be killed at war, and take their women. I wonder how Mr Mwanza was feeling at the time. Fred persecuted his political enemies with impunity, he even went to the extent of introducing a law to deal with Matriboy…..one man! Now, it is common knowlegde that Fred dipped his hands in the nation’s treassury the fact that he was not convicted does not make him innocent.

  3. I was dissappointed with the so called overseer of bigoca. He deliberately snubbed Dr. Kaunda in his salutation. What a pastor!!! I was not imprest with his msg.

  4. Churches in Zambia are a big disappointment. They are very quick to support the government of the day so that they receive favors. They are too quiet on current issues so that the flow of brown envelopes is sustained. Instead of supporting corrupt politicians they must champion the fight against corruption and promote human rights. Education, health, justice etc have deteriorated in the last 20 years and you hear little from these churches except the Catholics. Please rediscover your proper role in society other than the leeches and free riders that you are today.

  5. President Chiluba has gone a vindicated and dignified Icon of Zambian democracy. He has left us entrenched in entrepreneurship and self actualization. Thank you Your Excellency President Rupiah Bwezani Banda for your unparalleled practical pragmatism, empathy, maturity, determinism, rational actions and  statesmanship. Thank you to GRZ run by rational actors the ruling MMD has entrusted to serve the nation judiciously,UPND, HP, ADD,NAREP, FDD, UNIP and indeed the entire Zambian public for a dignified and befitting heroic send-off of FTJ.

  6. Theze dayz some men of the of the pulpit exhibit very strange characteristics, but from now on, let FTJ lie quietly.

  7. No more oversized mutulo baba Ndhlovu. You’ll have to wring tithes out of your congregants like squeezing water out of a dry sponge. Sorry.

  8. Ba Bishop, this is very true, thank God the real churches in zambia stood by him. Who are we to judge anyone. Let this be an opportunity for Chiluba harters to repent and move on. I rest my case as a peace loving zambian who will one day be in Govt

  9. Imwe enough of this, Kafupi is gone and gone for ever no amount of talk will bring him back lets go back to politics .

  10. The MMD dominated Parliament removed his immunity to prosecute him. They NOT us called him a thief. They even sent George Kunda to UK to obtain a conviction which they did. The MMD told us FTJ stole $46m and he had 100 pairs of shoes and more than 100 pairs suites. The MMD told us FTJ dipped his fingers into the state resources and lootyed coffers. So I dont understand the MMD VUvuzela bloggers shifting attention to other people.

  11. No more brown envelopes at church. He was rejected because of hypocricy by your church. instead of advising him to repent and turn to god you were busy benefiting from the proceeds of his plunder and theft. The best u can do is to pray and repent.

  12. Chiluba was president of Zambia with the mandate to bring improve to our lives through good policies and decisions. Instead, he embezzled our funds and this made him a mischief in our eyes. He deserved to go to prison like any citizen who did a criminal act. A lot of people died in his era some of whom , his competitors. It is against this background that up to his death people were not happy with him. His actions affected a lot of Zambians in the negatives through suffering and even death. In addition, he decided to differ with the majority Zambians over his support for Banda. 70% are opposition in Zambia and this put him on the chopping board. He did it for his freedom but such are the consequences. We leave judgement to God yes but are talking about our money, he died a convict-US$46m

  13. Now that all is said and done, shall we please resume politicking – John Phiri my man from PF where are you? The MMD adoption process resumes tomorrow with interviews at constituencies. This process must be finalised within two weeks by which time the big announcement (election date) will be looming. So we gonna have a parte!

  14. This cheap pastor must be investigated as he could be possessing some state assets from his departed associate. He sounds to be a man of dodgy character.

  15. Number 6, you are so right. Secondly when we begin to show love and forgive one another this country shall move. All the haters on this blog must remember that the west is happy to see us fight as they loot our resources, they will even sponsor NGO’s such as Press Freedom which is only open to the POST.

  16. The bible says no one is good except God a lone CHILUBA did alot of good things. also he made mistakes, how ever it is not good to over blow it because it can be a cancer on any one who does so, but the rich must learn to share with the poor

  17. I’m glad the SOB is dead and now 6 feet under. He was a painful waste of space, a stinking thief, bigot and serial adulterer. He should actually have been cremated and his ashes thrown down a Kalingalinga pit latrine because that is where he belonged. It also did not come as a surprise that the only serving head of state to attend the throwing away of that stinker’s remains was no other that Kabila, from Katanga in Zaire. For most Zambians, his demise is sweet good riddance. You bet hell is now stinking out because of his arrival, together with his hundreds of designer suits, shoes, underwear (007) and “nukacaz”. Damn, there is a living god out there!

  18. What Chiluba went through was’nt persecution, it was prosecution, you know, that crap you go through if you commit wrongs? Big difference. Unless you are telling us there was no cause to send him before the courts. The way Chiluba has been rehabilitated in his death, you would think he left behind a paradise with the land flowing with milk and honey and streets paved with gold. The way he was being described, you would think he was Christ incarnate. Unfilippingbelievable!

  19. Please, FTJ was never persecuted. He was prosecuted. He was taken to court so that ha can prove his innonce but he not only refused to defend himself but also refused to swear to tell the truth. What with all those shoes, clothes and stolen women. Only his maker can judge him. Ours is to speculate and wonder

  20. Is this worth news ba LT? days are number bane, Ka chiluba did alot of damage to us despite positive things he did, hence he had more enemies than friends after he left office.

  21. And #11, what iz your definition of a REAL CHURCH in Zambia? Yes #21 you are spot on, FTJ did a lot of GOOD and BAD thingz, both of which should not be over-blown. Let’s move on while leaning from the mistakes and getting inspired by the good thingz.

  22. Ladies and gentlemen did you read this on post news paper, diging deeper. by Click photo to see larger picture

Congo DR’s Katanga Province governor Moses Katumbi was among
dignitaries present at Chiluba’s burial on Monday June27, 2001

  23. May the Lord the land of Zambia. May he change hearts of stone and give us hearts of flesh! O mother Zambia you who kill prophets! How often God has wanted you to be gathered as one people but you cling to hate and division to the happiness of Satan!

  24. Chiluba was a thief period. Stop crying over him. And this lying president is now trying to say Mwanawasa wanted to free Kafupi…total lies. this guy lies through everyday of his life…when is the election date?

  25. This are the “pastors” who came with the declaration of christian nonsense always interested in making money.Do u tell us to say zambia became christian only after the so called christian declaration ,what was it before that you foolish “pastor”.my great great grand mother died a christian way back before this nonsense declaration meant to hoodwink us so that u so called pastors can steal from us in the name of christ.shut up
