Chipolopolo forward Emmanuel Mayuka says he is targeting more game time and to score goals at French side Sochaux.
Mayuka said he is looking forward to start playing for Sochaux after joining them from Southampton on a season long loan deal last week.
“Looking forward to playing more games and helping the team to do good. My main goal is to help the team win more games, score more goals and work hard with the rest of the team,” he said.
“I will try to do my best to score more goals and help the team until we achieve something together,” Mayuka said.
He noted that playing in the French top-flight league won’t be easy.
“It will be a challenge but interesting as well.”
Sochaux are 19th on the 20-team table with two points in four matches played.
Game time and performance (goals) will be very crucial in determining the direction his career takes in Europe.
Your game is yet to be seen. You need to sharpen your striking skills, else you have no career in Europe.

am very sure mayuka ll excel now that he is out of that rugby league (epl). That league is for skilless hard men,thats why player injuries are higher than the scores per season.
Mayuka ,falling every time u are receiving a ball is irritating. Be strong on it and hold it while conterplating intelligently where to direct it rather than kicking anyhow like one with not head.

Mayuka is a Great prospect. What he needs more than anything @ this time is support from Zedian’s, & not put downs. If he were a cr*p player with no prospect, Southampton would Not have made a bid for him, & they would have already sold him to re-coup their losses. Just needs more time. Bravo Mayuka!!!

The boy lacks experience of English football.. Soton should have given him much time to play for their academy and am very sure he would have changed and could have adapted to their style…. He’s a good player with all the abilities!!!!! GO MAYUKA
