Ghana’s prize for eliminating Zambia is the privilege of facing their archrivals Egypt in the 2014 World Cup playoff qualifiers.
The seven-time champions will travel to Kumasi in the first leg during the weekend of October 11-15.
Ghana will then travel to Cairo during the weekend of November 15-19.
The Black Stars are chasing their third successive World Cup appearance.
Meanwhile, Bob Bradley’s side will be aiming to end a 24-year absence from the world Cup.
Egypt,who are unbeaten in the World Cup group stage qualifiers with a perfect 18 points, have been to the World Cup twice in 1934 and 1990.
Winner will qualify to the finals in Brazil next year that will be held from June 12 to July 13, 2014.

Leave them there and the following day leave them in front of the stadium , but they should not enter it. Africa needs it best teams in the World cup,and between Ghana and Egypt on the International stage- Ghana is way better that Egypt. Egypt has done very well on the continent but not on the world stage.

Apart from Zambia, all the group C mates of 2013 Africa Cup of Nations Ethiopia, Nigeria and Burkina Faso have gone through to the 2014 World Cup playoff qualifiers , just an observation. The painful point to note, though, is that despite failure to qualify, it is only Zambia from this group that were given free points by FIFA and Renard has the audacity to rate himself well!

Discipline also counts in football, the GFA told u your plane cannot land in Kumasi Airport cos it’s not an international airport but u insisted because u know what u are up to, secondly your team arrived two hours late which by that time the stadium was closed.
