Nkana have announced that the burial of the late club head coach Masauso Mwale will take place on Tuesday at Kansenshi Cemetery in Ndola.
Mwale, 51, died in a road traffic accident on the Ndola-Kitwe Dual Carriageway on Friday evening after his vehicle overturned several times near Luanshya’s Maposa area.
Unveiling the burial programmme, Nkana secretary Ken Mwansa said the funeral procession will begin with a requiem service at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola at 09h00.
“Burial for our late coach Masauso Mwale will take place tomorrow Tuesday. Church service will take place at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola starting at 09h00 before mourners proceed to Kansenshi Cemetery,” Mwansa said.
Mwale is survived by a wife Matildah and four children.
He joined Nkana from Konkola Mine Police in January 2013 and led Kalampa to their 12th FAZ Super League title at the end of the season.
The triumph was Nkana’s first league title since 2001
