Kabwata constituency hopeful in the 2016 general election Clement Tembo has called on young people in the country to take a leading role in the country’s politics and shape the future of the country.
Mr. Tembo says it is high time that young people aspired for leadership positions as opposed to being used as tools of violence by recycled politicians who have nothing to offer anymore.
Mr Tembo called on old politicians to pass on the mantel to young people who have been in the peripherals as they have done their part and that it is for a change in the country’s leadership.
“This call for change is different, its a change that calls for old or recycled politicians to go away and live room for young ones. Young people are the most affected with the suffering in this country when they are the majority in the country. It is high time they contributed positively to this country not just being used by old and recycled politicians to do their dirty work.
“Yesterday we head our grandfather Mr. Mukombwe saying he will continue eating until the confusion is finished; continue eating! Do you hear that statement? We need God to help us with this topic so that who ever has bewitched us shell go to sleep because there is no way we can have such grand papas continue leading us while let them,” Mr. Tembo said
He added: ” what picture does such statement to us? That we the young people are not organized and will continue being lead by recycled leaders who just want to eat. These recycled politicians as long as we as young people do not stand that is why any young person that is going to stand I’m going to support them it doesn’t matter what political party they are going to stand on because we tired of these people who are holding on to positions in perpetuity.”
So get into action and do something about it.
Clement must be arrested for starting election campaigns before the toothless ECZ announces 2016 campaign dates.

I and my family have HH already on the ground. The man has proved himself in private capacity that he does not need be in government to make it. He is the only man I think will not even bother about his pay. Unlike Sata HH will probably donate his salary to support bright children from poor back grounds as he is already doing.
Gen Miyanda will definitely be given an advisory role under UPND.
PF minions should concentrate on who take over from the dying dinosaur instead of trying impose leaders in other parties.

Clement I would like to commend you. We have pipo in this country who think age has no effect on the president ability to function properly. Why do we have youths and why do we marry at least our edge groups if age never matter. Tembo is just another dreamer. What does he mean on his poster, no load shedding, better schools and hospitals in Kabwata? Is he looking for a job at ZESCO or he is hoping to set up an electricity generating company for Kabwata constituency? It is ridiculous to promise to deliver things that are beyond your control. Loading shedding will exist as long as ZESCO’s generation capacity is outstripped by demand. Kabwata is a stone throw from UTH, there are plenty of schools and water rearly goes as I own a property on the extension side though I am currently on the Kopala for professional reasons.
Younger people need to be realistic if they have to get in parliament to replace the old guards. Tembo must be a small business man hoping to ride on parly. Matiure more first & I will vote…

Generally, age does not matter, we have had young Presidents in this country before, KK started rulling when he was in the 40s, same with FTJ. Tembo might become MP in 2016 and will want to stand in 2021, and again in 2026, same with 2031 , currently he is very young and eventually will think that Politics is his business; a source of income. The best Tembo can do is offer himself to the people without talking about age, or if he thinks he can make monie using that position , maybe try being a Businessman.
