The country is at peace so just wake up and do something for yourself baba. A number of Zambians who have decided to work hard are making money. But since u want HH to come and make money for u, you can continue mourning and waiting in vain.

Only a foolish man will think they are truly free when they use english as an official language, when they wear clothes and uniforms of the colonialists, when the education system is based off of the white colonists, when our culture is eroded and embeded with those of the white colonists, when tumbukas in zambia call our tumbuka brothers from malawi and foreigners.
     True independence is the ability to practice your culture in all situation, all circumstances at all times.

6. @peter,i don’t know which state you live in the usa,but claiming that most of our earnings goes towards tax is false and lacks reality.the state and federal taxes are designed on your increment as the months progress,there is also TAX RETURNS which is not the case in zambia.federal tax refund and child credits are some of the benefits you get back.its true some people are not doing good due to there social life but if you came here with a vision its easy to achieve your dream.america and most of the western world are developed nations,we see a lot of africans risking their lives crossing seas ,for what.here we see were our tax money goes and how to works.all the money spent on freedom day celebrations would have been used to free our brothers and sisters in orphanages .

   Anyway, I digress. Living in whatever country is not just about how much money you make. Its also importantly about the quality of life you are able to enjoy. The tax you pay ensuring that you have clean water, good sanitation, access to quality health and education services, recreation, affordable food, sustainable energy e.t.c. A good measure of this is if most ‘ordinary people’ in ‘everyday’ work have access to most of these.
