Power Dynamos have thumped FC MUZA 4-2 at home in Kitwe to restore their five-point lead at the top of the Super League table.
Second placed Red Arrows had 24 hours earlier briefly cut Power’s lead to two points following a 1-0 win over Kansanshi Dynamos in Lusaka.
Kenyan forward Moses Shumar on Youth Day inspired Power when scoring twice at Arthur Davies with Fredrick Mulambia and Brian Masanyinga scoring a goal each.
After taking 2-0 lead in the opening 12 minutes, Power were scared by MUZA, who equalised to put the score-line at 2-2 in the 49th minute.
Shumar put Power in front again with a 54th minute goal before Masanyinga putting the score-line beyond MUZA’s reach deep in stoppage time.
Shumar has scored five goals for Power in their two games played in the last four days.
Power extends their tally to 51 points, five ahead of Arrows, as at week 24.
In other games played on Youth Day, Zanaco needed a later equalizer to force a 1-1 draw at Green Buffaloes in the Lusaka derby.
At Woodlands Stadium, visiting Nchanga Rangers maintained their third place on the table when stunning Napsa Stars 1-0 in Lusaka.
Brave Rangers are eight points behind Super League leaders Power.
