FCB Nyasa Big Bullets coach Wedson Nyirenda says he wants to turn the People’s Team into a bigger club after securing his first win in charge.
Bullets beat Kamuzu Barracks 2-1 in an FDH Bank Premiership match at Civo Stadium on Sunday.
The win, coming after a draw, lifted Bullets to fourth on the table with 13 points from seven matches.
Nyirenda demanded more from his players in a post-match comment.
“We need to work on our finishing. We created a lot of chances but failed to take them. When you don’t take your chances in football, you always leave yourself exposed,” he told the club media.
The Zambian tactician praised young players Misheck Mologeni and Misheck Botoman: “I’m so impressed with Mologeni. He’s a big machine in a small body. Misheck is also a very good player. These young boys are standing on their feet on a big stage and that is very encouraging.”
Bullets now turn attention to Saturday’s home fixture against Masters FC at Mpira Stadium.
Nyirenda was appointed Bullets head coach two weeks ago on a two-year contract.
