LFive teams have secured promotion to the National League ahead of the 2026 transitional season after winning playoffs at Lilayi Grounds in Lusaka.
Forest Myooye, Mathkat United, Nampundwe, Play It Forward and Mikalile emerged from 10 provincial Division One champions.
Nampundwe are back in the National League after a long spell in lower divisions.
Coach Clive Mwansa said the club would strengthen ahead of the new campaign.
“The playoffs were tough. We will beef up the team to compete favourably in the National League,” Mwansa said.
The Lusaka-based club was formed in 1972.
Forest Myooye coach Evaristo Mkandawire said the side was ready for the step up.
“This is a dream come true and we dedicate this qualification to our fans and sponsors,” Mkandawire said.
“We know the National League is demanding, but we shall be ready to compete.”
In the women’s category, Young Green Buffaloes Girls, Kumm’awa Stars Queens, Power Dynamos Queens, Lunchu Queens, Barts Queens and Mwenzo Queens have also earned promotion.
Debutants Power Dynamos Queens were only formed in 2025. Coached by White Mwanambaba, they won the FAZ Provincial League to qualify for the playoffs.
