Power releases Asia bound Prince Mumba

Super League champions Power Dynamos have announced the departure of four players following the expiry of their contracts and a transfer abroad.

‎Vice-captain Prince Mumba has left to join an Asian club.

‎He signed for Power in 2024.

‎Former captain Aaron Katebe leaves after his contract ended. The defender joined the club in 2022.

‎Strikers Musonda Kapembwa and Austin Muwowo have also departed after their deals expired.

Kapembwa arrived in 2025 while Muwowo joined in 2023.

‎Club CEO Gibson Chaloba thanked the quartet for their service.

‎“We sincerely thank Aaron, Prince, Musonda and Austin. Each played a critical role in the success of our club,” Chaloba said. “We wish them success in their future endeavours.”

‎Power Dynamos said it remains focused on strengthening the squad ahead of the 2026 MTN Super League season and the CAF Champions League.

‎Here’s your Shumah transfer story edited for newspaper — tightened, fixed grammar, cut repetition:

‎Last week, Kenyan striker Moses Shumah has left Power Dynamos to join South African club AmaZulu FC.

‎Shumah left alongside midfielder Brian Masanyinga, who is joining the Zambia Police Service for training.

‎Power assured supporters the club remains committed to building a competitive squad ahead of the new season and continental assignments.
