  1. Shouldnt Mr President be taking an HIV test instead of having his BP checked. We need to walk the talk. The launch was for HIV testing and not BP testing. Just thinking.

    • If ECL is serious about HIV, he should have taken an HIV test instead of checking for hypertension (High Blood Pressure – HBP).

    • No matter how many times visionless Jonathan Lungu takes on HIV~AIDS test, the status remains the same as long as an individual has it.
The whole lot could only get a BP test?
Anyway the UPND Family is celebrating the freedom of HH. Shame on PFolice, PFudiciary, PFourts, PFudges & all PF visionless bandits.

  2. The reasoning of some people is quite appalling. Many of your sick brains think that the president has said HIV test results are to be made public. This is the spirit in which some chaps are saying if he is serious with HIV he should have taken an HIV test. Doctor patient confidentiality will still be maintained. There are far too many who shy away from knowing their status through fear of the unknown. Yesterday I heard of how in a class of pupils the majority of who had not slept with anyone, only one volunteered to take a free HIV test. The rest were afraid. Of what? They could not tell when they were asked!

  3. ECL , MWAKALOMBE,FREEDOM SIKAZWE, AMOS CHANDA, KAIZER ZULU Bonse bana yaka including Health minister, testing on site was going to be good for the NATION to know so that 2021 can be well managed

  4. You can not test HIV/AIDS at home – Home kit is now available. this does not need to be national news. HIV/AIDS is only a big deal in Africa – the west don’t even discuss it.
You don’t discuss other diseases, why is HIV/AIDS a big deal?

  5. Well done Mr. President. You have killed two birds with one stone. The infected citizen and the uninfected citizen will both be protected. The infected citizen will live and contribute to national development through treatment. The uninfected citizen will escape from being infected by a person who doesn’t know that he/she is HIV positive. Scarce national resources will be conserved.
The question of human rights applies to both the infected and uninfected citizen. The President is protecting the life of one who could have died from ignorance of his/her status, and those that this person could have infected, mainly women.
