PRINCESS MWAMBA
She was born , Sarah Mwamba, in May 1990 in Zambia . She has always had a passion for music and dancing since her early childhood years when her family encouraged her to pursue her vision with determination and never settle for ‘no’. Once her family moved from Zambia to the United States, Princess took the advice to heart and enjoys her career as its ascension materializes. She is also involved with a charity organisation for orphans.
KAPA187: Welcome to the interview , can you describe yourself in 3 words.

PRINCESS MWAMBA:fun loyal & caring.
KAPA187: When did you first start rapping ,and what made u get serious about it?
PRINCESS MWAMBA: i started rapping December 2010 i got serious because the producer that discovered me and inspired me got killed the same night i was supposed to meet up with him.
KAPA187: Wow that must have been a sad moment , but you have managed to carry on .Where do you get your inspiration for your music?
PRINCESS MWAMBA: My inspiration comes from knowing that i can express myself and change people lives.
KAPA187: Hip hop is male dominated with only a hand full of female rappers making it big , what do you bring to the table that makes people want to listen to you?
PRINCESS MWAMBA: basically if you listen to my music you will find that my music is positive, its to empower women and just have fun with life. nowadays you find a lot of women selling sex and their bodies in the music, and i feel like its more to music than just that, its about having a great time and learning life experiences.
KAPA187:You are based in the US , but you do have funs in your home country of Zambia , do you feel like they are appreciating your music?
PRINCESS MWAMBA: yes i actually do have a lot fans in my home country Zambia. But ive learned that no matter who you are not everyone is going to like you, example look at God, but as-long I touch at-least one persons heart then my work is done.
KAPA187: Yes that is true .Rap music in Zambia has been on the rise , are there any local rappers you are impressed with and would like to work with?
PRINCESS MWAMBA: yes i’m actually impressed with a lot and wouldn’t mind working and learning from all of them.
KAPA187:You have a video on youtube for your song Swagg walk that has over 15 000 views , how does that feel.
PRINCESS MWAMBA:I feel like I’m blessed because I’m new to the game and i have a lot of people supporting and loving me.
KAPA187:Apart from music what else are you interested in.
PRINCESS MWAMBA:I have always had a passion to help people i love helping and just knowing that i can put a smile on somebody’s face. also love dancing, modeling and playing sports.
KAPA187: Who inspires you , both musically and personally.
PRINCESS MWAMBA:musically its Brenda Fassie I JUST LOVE HER music so much even though i don’t know what she be saying, i can just feel the passion through it and it puts me in a different mind set. and personally its my mom. i love my mother Mary Zulu so much she is a beautiful caring loving and strong woman who don’t take no for an answer in life.
KAPA187:Do you have an album coming out , and will be available to your fans in Zambia.
PRINCESS MWAMBA:No album yet but i have an EP coming out that’s have of an mixtape. and yes it will deff be available for my people.
KAPA187: What have been your best and worst experiences in life.
PRINCESS MWAMBA:ive had a lot of great experiences in my life and my worst was to lose people that i care about like my grandma , grandpa and aunty but i take it as a learning experience.
KAPA187: Do you have plans on doing show in Zambia any time soon.
PRINCESS MWAMBA:yes i am just waiting on the EP to drop and i will be on my way. cant wait.
KAPA187: In 10 years i will be…
PRINCESS MWAMBA:only God knows. i live everyday like its my last 😀
