When fifth Republican President Michael C. Sata passed on, a number of key players within PF would emerge to jostle for the vacant seat. One of those was none other than Kambwili, a senior cabinet minister at the time, whom Sata had once chided as being ultra-ambitious!
Anyway, the man who prides himself as Imbwili couldn’t choose a better place to launch his presidential bid as Kitwe on the Copperbelt – the political hotbed of our beloved country.
Out of curiosity, I found myself at the Show Grounds, the venue for the meeting to hear what the man fond of comparing himself to an animal had to offer.
In his usual style, the man was on fire! He went on to catalogue a litany of defects in a man who would go on to be President; as some in the audience, probably hired chaps, cheered on and ululated! Of course we can’t repeat any of it here as most of it borders on profanity!
When PF finally went for the convention and elected to anoint “ewo batushilile ba Sata;” being sly as he is, Imbwili saw a golden opportunity. He appointed himself chief campaign manager and immediately hit the ground running urging an otherwise ambivalent electorate to give Lungu a chance to complete Sata’s projects.
Once Edgar Lungu ascended to the throne as President, Kambwili would of course be rewarded with a lofty portfolio as Information Minister and chief government spokesman. By this time, everyone believed Kambwili had now matured and probably repented from his SINS.
But lo and behold……it would just be a matter of time before the man returned to his vomit! When the President finally gave him the boot after reading through his schemes, he wasted no time spewing vile at him…….referring to the President in some of the most derogatory terms leaving many citizens with jaws dropping. Some of this would land him in court of course!
With mounting litigations tolling over his head and a floundering business bearing pressure on him, Imbwili would be left with little option but to crawl back to the ruling party……egg on the face!
Of course he’s to find favour in the eyes of those he had ridiculed not so long ago. Being Imbwili ni Mbwili, he’s it at it again……taking pleasure in rubbishing a certain ethnic! And to think that he has a chartered chopper at his disposal flying around the country preaching hate speech especially during a time when we are mourning a man who taught us ‘One Zambia, One Nation’ makes you wonder whether indeed we are a Christian nation!
Now wait a minute…..isn’t this the same man as leader of NDC who drove many miles to go and apologize to chiefs in Southern province for his hate crusade against Tongas….claiming that he was just being used by powers that be? Anyway, Imbwili can never changes its spots no matter the charade. He can never learn! One would wonder what sort of things he still says about the President in private while he eulogizing him in public.
Kambwili is a danger to this nation…….He’s sowing seeds of acrimony and discord. Once this country is set on fire, he will simply jump on a plane to join his dear wife in the UK. The sooner the President discredits and withdraw him from his campaign team, the better!
Imbwili is a disgrace and danger to this nation. And he is a disgrace to PF. What Mr. Kambwili has been saying has been coming from his heart. The more Mr. Kambwili is being defended by PF, the more people will hate PF.
Kambwili ad PF hv nothing to offer to the nation, their time is done. If we analysis their existence, they are resorting to bulldozing themselves to power ad if the Zambians dont take thm serious, they can put the nation on fire.

I have found Mr Kambwili’s utterances in the past to be venomous at best but in this case I don’t think he has anything to apologize for. I looked at the statistics for the voting pattern in southern province in the last election and 98% of the Southern province vote went to UPND. This alone is indicative of tribal bias in the voting mindset. The composition of the party itself is not representative of a multi tribal country. Let’s call a spade a spade it is a tribal party and agenda.
Let’s dissect what he has said for truth and refute the facts, instead of resorting yo attacking a person’s character. Is what he has said not true? Statistics point to the fact that he has said nothing untrue.

CK has been hired by ECL/PF to speak at these illegal PF Rallies. CK is neither a Political Party nor a Candidate in this Election so the Electoral Code of Conduct cannot bind CK as an individual. Its PF, a Political Party fielding Candidates in this Election which should be suspended by the spineless ECZ. CK as an individual can be prosecuted for delivering Hate Speeches at these illegal PF Rallies. PF is an accomplice to these Hate Speeches becoz it has hired a Helicopter to ferry CK to these PF Rallies and allowed him to speak and officiate at these PF illegal Rallies. ECZ is also an accomplice in these Hate Crimes. ECZ,CK and PF have connived to deliver these Hate Speeches at these illegal PF Rallies. Period.
@ Mwabupo, Ministers are appointed from parliament. In the last term there was no elected MP under PF in the whole Southern province. UPND MOs that were approached declined for fear of victimization as it happened to people like Siamunene and others before.
ECL and PF are more dangerous than CK to the Nation. It is PF who have hired a Helicopter to ferry CK to these PF Rallies. It is PF who has authorized CK to speak at their illegal PF Rallies. CK has been using a PF Platform to spew these Hate Speeches. It is PF which is igniting a Rwanda type of Civil War in Zambia. On August 12 Zambians must vote out ECL and PF out of Power. They are dangerous to: “One Zambia One Nation ” moto. ECL and PF “ku wire” on August 12 at all costs.
Please let’s refrain from insults, look at the statistics of the voting pattern of Southern province. More than 98% of the vote went to a party where 98% of the membership is from the same province including parliamentary representation. These are the facts you should be addressing. If people are therefore voting based on tribe how is it a crime to point it out? Or is it the word tribal that’s offensive here?
Just cage the animal and send it to the zoo where it belongs. Let the kids have fun throwing tomatoes at it.

Let us be careful with people like Mr Kabwili. He speaks for the moment without putting to mind the implication of his statement. He does not know that in a country of close to 19 million people there is a sizable population that is mentally challenged and can act upon his utterances to cause injury either as Supporters or opposers to his hate speech. The composition of PF government in terms of a nationally balanced representatives leaves much to be desired. But it is not entitrel the PF’s fault.
The UPND wittingly, told their MP’s to refuse political offers of grz appointments or voting with PF in parley. “Don’t debate, just boycott if you can. Otherwise, you will be disfellowshipped from the party”. And that has been the trend.
Kambwili says it as it is. He does not mince words.
A certain group of people are busy saying it is their time to rule. That is why their voting pattern is skewed in that manner. They won’t stop until they deliver. Kambwili was only laying bare their thoughts.
CK is a Pawn in a Chess Game. His Role together with other Chess Pieces is to Protect the King. That King is Edgar Chagwa Lungu. He is the one who has hired the Helicopter for CK. ECL is paying all the Expenses,he is providing the PF Platform and CK has been told what to say by ECL. CK’s Tribal Theme in his Speeches is Lungu’s Personal Tribal Stance towards HH and the Tongas. Lungu is using Tribe as a Divide and Rule Tactic. By Dividing the Nation Lungu thinks the Bembas and the Easterners will give him votes in the upcoming August 12 Elections. Lungu’s tribalism is well known. In the past Lungu has said that “in every 10 thieves 6 are Bembas”. To avoid a Civil War in Zambia ,Zambians on August 12 must vote out of Power this Corrupt, Violent, incompetent,Visionless ECL Tribalist…

Both UPND and PF should be ashamed of ever being associated with Kambwili. It’s because of the likes of him that some of us didn’t vote for PF way back in 2011. Thugs like him should not be anywhere near the corridors of power.

Sata in the initial stage moved this guy to three ministries after he discovered that the guy was a misfit, and just shunted him at Ministry of Sport and Youth, and even when he was there, there was no youth policy put up hence this youth empowerment bribes currently being given out now due to the upcoming elections. Mwabu wanted to point to the composition of government. I said, some political parties have asked their members not to accept appointments. How does one expect them to be in government? They publicly reply that their time to rule will come. Please don’t blame Lungu.
Spaka, let me address your comments. I personally have very good Tonga friends. My mother told me when I went to UNZA that Tonga’s make the best friends after I mentioned my close friends. Tonga’s have a strong kinship connection and it’s evident in the way the interact in their own language which is commendable. But the recent political agenda to tap into this for political gain and abuse it has weaponized what should be celebrated……
… I’m not sure about how much you know about statistics but when a test result gives a 98% outcome from a large population it is evidence of a positive result. In this case and why it’s unfortunate when one tribe has a voting pattern of 98% for a party that’s 98% of the same tribe it can breed suspicion especially where the party does not recognize the ruling president of potential sabotage. Especially in sensitive areas like the military, police, intelligence etc….
….. the unfortunate thing becomes that those Tonga’s that don’t buy into the indoctrination that tribe is above Nationalism end up being unfortunate victims of a backlash against sectarianism which can be career limiting or cost them their jobs. Not so long ago the leader of the same tribal party boasted that they get an intelligence report before the elected president does…..
…. this suspicion also extends to what should be above board institutions like Amnesty international Zambia and Transparency international Zambia whose position statements appear biased because of the people of the same sect that run them. These attacks of sect against zambia have even extended to tarnishing the countries image abroad for political gain. So I think it’s important to be impartial before attacking Mr Kambwili by addressing the facts he’s pointing out instead of insulting or taking offense.
